To Breed or not to Breed, that is the question

I rarely get wound up about things that I read in the newspaper.

Actually that is not true. MrT gets annoyed with me when I read the newspaper at breakfast as I constantly comment on what I am reading, stating things like "OFGS, you will not believe what this ninny has written".

Luckily he is out tonight so I will just grump here about this horrid article in the Times

Why? Why would presumably intelligent people come up with such a term. Breeders.

They are the same people who scoff when we parents state, "As a mother, I find...". A statement that I never use as I hate it.

I do not treat my childless friends with contempt. I do not make fun of childless folk, or use derogatory terms when talking about them. Why is acceptable for them to label me?

I am NOT A BREEDER. I am NOT JUST A MUM. I am NOT JUST A WIFE.

I am ME.
