And the winner is...

me!

Not one, but two charming ladies have awarded me a prize.

The aim of this award, the Liebster Award (which surely originated in Germany?) is to promote smaller blogs with less that 300 subscribers.

I was tagged by a wonderful woman who I got to know through the whole Eastenders babysnatching storyline, Caz who blogs about her life After Anabelle. Caz's gorgeous little girl was born too soon and sadly did not survive. After such a devastating event in her life, Caz turned to online friends for support and has found a great group of women on Mumsnet who are there for each other through thick and thin. Her blog is incredibly honest, well written and very touching.

The second tag was from creative blogger MumOfAllTrades who puts me to shame with her fantastic sewing projects, and great artistic ideas. Do try out her yummy sausage casserole.

Ok. So on to my top tips for blogs that you might not know.

One of my favourite blogs is Gentle Otter's tales of a Scottish country farm. Think Peter Mayles, without the sun and lavender.

A special tip for today, is the brand new blog Wordbitten where readers can snap a bite of the story in small installments. Claire is a wonderfully talented writer who I have been nagging to blog - I will of course take all credit for the success of her blog.

I just recently discovered the amusing This Mid 30s Life (I have forgotten where) and love her view of life in UK through Australian shaped spectacles. Today she seems to be talking of bidets with blowdrying function and decorating your ladygarden. Sounds like my kind of blog.

Now, I know that there are lots of bloggers who do this meme thing, and those that don't really. I mainly don't tbh, but thought this was a good one to introduce some of my favourite bloggers to you. If you have been tagged, and don't want to do this, then I will not be upset and cross you off my Christmas card list.
