No really.
A study published yesterday stated that 25 million Brits are injured each year in biscuit related incidents, with over 500 people needing hospital treatment because of biscuit injuries.
The study found that 29% of people have been injured by dunking and scalding, 28% from choking on crumbs and an 10% by breaking a crown or a filling when tucking into their favourite biscuit.
3% have poked themselves in the eye with a biscuit while a worrying 7% were bitten by a pet or a wild animal trying to steal their biccies.
The study was commissioned by Rocky, the third riskiest type of biscuit and carried out by Mindlab. Their Biscuit Injury Threat Evaluation (or B.I.T.E) ascertained the risk of different biscuits, concluding that Custard Creams have a B.I.T.E of 5.63.
Just as well we don't get much in the way of biscuits over here. I wonder what the B.I.T.E of Hobnobs is.
Well I had a good chuckle over this. Thank you!
